Sterile Processing Technician

In this role, you will be responsible for decontaminating, assembling, sterilizing, and storing medical instruments.The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of experience in the healthcare field, and a commitment to safety and quality control. The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational skills and be able to multitask efficiently. Responsibilities:

1. Decontaminate and assemble medical instruments according to established safety protocols.
2. Sterilize medical instruments in a timely and accurate manner.
3. Store medical instruments in a safe and organized manner.
4. Ensure that all equipment is sterilized and decontaminated in accordance with safety standards.
5. Maintain records and logs of all sterilization and decontamination procedures.
6. Follow safety protocols to protect patients from the risk of infection.
7. Monitor and inspect all medical instruments for quality assurance.
8. Assist in troubleshooting and solving problems related to instrument sterilization and decontamination.
9. Coordinate with other departments to ensure the delivery of the highest quality patient care.
10. Participate in training and development activities to stay up to date with the latest sterilization and decontamination practices.
