Security Officer Lead

Allina Health System is seeking an experienced and professional Security Officer Lead to join our team. Reporting to the Security Manager, the Security Officer Lead will be responsible for leading the security operations for the health system. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and customer service. We are looking for an individual who is organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused with experience in security operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.Qualifications:• High School Diploma or equivalent• At least 3 years’ experience in security operations• Prior supervisory experience• Knowledge of security operations and procedures• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Ability to make independent decisions• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel• Ability to lift up to 50lbs • Strong interpersonal skills • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and after-hours shifts, as needed

Responsibilities: • Supervise security personnel and ensure security operations are carried out according to established policies and procedures • Develop and implement security protocols to ensure safety and security for Allina Health System • Monitor security operations and respond appropriately to incidents • Conduct investigations into security breaches and document findings • Provide training and guidance to security personnel on security operations and procedures • Maintain communication with security personnel and respond to any security-related issues • Develop security strategies and plans for the health system • Develop and manage security budgets • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff • Perform other duties as assigned
