We are currently seeking a skilled and caring Registered Nurse (RN) for our Triage department. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing timely and accurate medical advice to our patients, ensuring they receive the appropriate care they need.   1. Provide timely and accurate medical advice to patients through phone triage, utilizing sound clinical judgement and following established protocols.
  2. Assess and prioritize patient needs based on symptoms and severity, directing them to appropriate levels of care.
  3. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure a smooth and coordinated patient experience.
  4. Document all interactions and interventions accurately and thoroughly in electronic medical records.
  5. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care.
  6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical conditions, treatments, and medications to provide the most current and evidence-based care.
  7. Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and respect towards patients and their families, promoting a healing and caring environment.
  8. Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations related to patient confidentiality and privacy.
  9. Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance knowledge and skills in the field of triage nursing.
  10. Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
  11. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and assist in identifying areas for process improvement.
  12. Adhere to professional standards of nursing practice and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
  13. Display a positive attitude and promote a team-oriented work environment.
  14. Complete other duties as assigned by the Triage Manager or other members of the healthcare team.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Rn Licensure In The State Of Practice

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Nursing Experience, Preferably In An Acute Care Setting

  • Certification In Triage Nursing Or Demonstrated Expertise In Telephone Triage

  • Strong Assessment And Critical Thinking Skills

  • Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Handle High Volume And High Stress Situations.
