1. Provide exceptional care and support to patients in the Labor and Delivery department.
2. Monitor the health and well-being of expecting mothers during labor and delivery.
3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
4. Communicate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and effective care.
5. Educate patients and their families on pregnancy, labor, and postpartum care.
6. Monitor and assess fetal well-being during labor.
7. Handle emergency situations with efficiency and composure.
8. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
9. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
10. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
11. Foster a welcoming and comforting environment for patients and their families.
12. Continuously strive to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
13. Attend trainings and stay updated on current best practices in labor and delivery nursing.
