We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Care Intermediate Medical Care (IMC) unit. This role will require a compassionate and dedicated individual who is committed to providing high-quality care to patients with cardiac conditions. As an RN in our IMC unit, you will have the opportunity to utilize your skills and knowledge to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients. To be successful in this role, we are seeking candidates who are licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Minnesota and have a minimum of 1 year of experience in cardiac care. BLS and ACLS certifications are also required. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and critical thinking skills, as well as a strong ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.   • Provide exceptional care to patients with cardiac conditions in our Cardiac Care Intermediate Medical Care unit
  • Utilize nursing skills and knowledge to effectively care for patients with complex cardiac needs
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
  • Monitor and assess patients' cardiac status, including vital signs, lab results, and telemetry readings
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and nursing protocols
  • Educate patients and their families about cardiac conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies
  • Document patient care and progress accurately and thoroughly in electronic medical records
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to changes in patients' conditions and communicate with physicians as needed
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and adhere to infection control policies and procedures
  • Stay current on best practices and evidence-based guidelines for cardiac care, and participate in continuing education opportunities
  • Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and professionalism in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues
  • Adhere to all regulatory and ethical standards for nursing practice and maintain confidentiality of patient information
  • Act as a patient advocate and promote a positive patient experience by actively listening to and addressing patients' concerns and needs
  • Continuously assess and improve nursing processes and procedures to enhance the quality of care provided to patients.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Minnesota.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) Or Higher From An Accredited Institution.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Acute Care Nursing Experience, Preferably In A Cardiac Care Or Intermediate Care Unit.

  • Certification In Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls).

  • Demonstrated Knowledge And Experience In Caring For Patients With Cardiac Conditions, Including Monitoring And Managing Cardiac Medications, Interpreting Cardiac Rhythms, And Providing Patient Education On Cardiac Care.
