- Provide exceptional care to patients by conducting thorough evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
- Utilize strong clinical skills and knowledge to effectively treat a diverse patient population, including those with complex medical conditions and injuries.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Actively participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment for patients and adhere to infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to educate and involve them in the rehabilitation process.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards in accordance with state and federal regulations and Allina Health System policies.
- Serve as a resource and mentor to other team members, including physical therapy assistants and students.
- Contribute to the overall success of the physical therapy department by actively participating in team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and other departmental activities.
Bachelor's Degree In Physical Therapy: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Physical Therapy Is Required For A Resource Physical Therapist Position At Allina Health System. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Strong Foundation In The Principles And Practices Of Physical Therapy.
Current State Licensure: All Candidates Must Hold A Current And Valid License To Practice Physical Therapy In The State Where The Allina Health System Facility Is Located. This Demonstrates That The Candidate Has Met The Necessary Requirements And Has The Legal Authority To Practice Physical Therapy.
Prior Experience In A Clinical Setting: Candidates With Prior Experience Working As A Physical Therapist In A Clinical Setting Are Preferred For A Resource Physical Therapist Position At Allina Health System. This Experience Shows That The Candidate Has A Strong Understanding Of Patient Care And Treatment Protocols.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Resource Physical Therapist, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Their Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.
Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team: Allina Health System Values Candidates Who Can Work Independently And Take Initiative In Their Work, But Also Collaborate Effectively With Other Team Members.
