- Assist patients with daily activities such as dressing, grooming, and mobility exercises.
- Monitor and record patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the rehabilitation team.
- Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients during their recovery process.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and adhere to infection control protocols.
- Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies for rehabilitation sessions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and members of the healthcare team.
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating patient appointments.
- Follow all policies and procedures to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Attend training and educational sessions to stay updated on the latest rehabilitation techniques and practices.
- Document patient progress and interventions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Act as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Education Requirement For A Rehabilitation Aide Position At Allina Health System Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Level Of Education And Is Able To Follow Instructions And Complete Tasks Accurately.
Previous Experience In Healthcare Or Rehabilitation Setting: Allina Health System Prefers Candidates With Previous Experience In A Healthcare Or Rehabilitation Setting. This Experience Indicates That The Candidate Has A Basic Understanding Of The Healthcare Industry And Is Familiar With The Procedures And Protocols Of A Rehabilitation Facility.
Cpr Certification: Allina Health System Requires All Rehabilitation Aides To Have Current Cpr Certification. This Ensures That The Candidate Is Trained In Basic Life-Saving Techniques And Can Respond To Emergency Situations If Necessary.
Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Objects: Rehabilitation Aides Are Required To Assist Patients With Various Exercises And Activities, Which May Involve Lifting And Moving Heavy Objects. Therefore, Candidates Should Have The Physical Strength And Ability To Perform These Tasks Safely And Effectively.
