  1. Provide exceptional patient care: The primary responsibility of the Registered Nurse will be to provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients with cancer.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare team: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  3. Administer medications and treatments: Monitor and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols.

  5. Assess and monitor patient's condition: Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor changes in their condition, communicate any concerns to the healthcare team.
  6. Provide emotional support: Offer emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during a challenging time, demonstrating empathy and compassion.
  7. Document patient care: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including documentation of procedures, treatments, and medication administration.
  8. Adhere to safety protocols: Ensure the safety of patients and staff by following established infection control and safety protocols.
  9. Stay updated on industry developments: Stay informed about new developments and advancements in oncology nursing through continuing education and training.
  10. Uphold hospital policies and procedures: Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure high-quality care and maintain a safe work environment.
  11. Participate in quality improvement initiatives: Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  12. Maintain professional standards: Adhere to the professional standards of nursing practice and uphold the ethical and legal responsibilities of the nursing profession.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Rn Licensure In The State Of Minnesota

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Med Surg Oncology
