  1. Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures: Perform X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and other diagnostic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.
  2. Ensure patient safety and comfort: Follow all safety protocols and ensure patients are comfortable and informed throughout the imaging process.
  3. Operate imaging equipment: Set up and operate various imaging equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, and MRI machines.
  4. Maintain equipment: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues with imaging equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  5. Review and analyze images: Review and analyze images to ensure they are of high quality and meet diagnostic standards.
  6. Collaborate with healthcare team: Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss patient cases and provide accurate imaging results.
  7. Maintain patient records: Accurately document and maintain patient records, including imaging results and relevant medical history.
  8. Adhere to ethical standards: Follow ethical standards and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  9. Stay updated on industry advancements: Stay informed about new techniques, equipment, and procedures in the field of radiology to provide the best possible care to patients.
  10. Provide exceptional patient care: Demonstrate a compassionate and empathetic approach towards patients and their families, making sure their needs are met during the imaging process.
  11. Adhere to safety and regulatory standards: Comply with all safety and regulatory standards, including HIPAA and radiation safety regulations.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental processes.
  13. Train and mentor junior staff: Train and mentor new staff and students to ensure they are following best practices and adhering to safety protocols.
  14. Maintain a clean and organized work environment: Keep the imaging room and equipment clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  15. Attend training and professional development opportunities: Attend training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and stay updated on industry advancements.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or Related Field.

  • Current Certification By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Radiologic Technologist In A Clinical Setting.

  • Familiarity With Electronic Medical Record Systems And Ability To Accurately Document Patient Information.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Work With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
