- Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures: Perform X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and other diagnostic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort: Follow all safety protocols and ensure patients are comfortable and informed throughout the imaging process.
- Operate imaging equipment: Set up and operate various imaging equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, and MRI machines.
- Maintain equipment: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues with imaging equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Review and analyze images: Review and analyze images to ensure they are of high quality and meet diagnostic standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare team: Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss patient cases and provide accurate imaging results.
- Maintain patient records: Accurately document and maintain patient records, including imaging results and relevant medical history.
- Adhere to ethical standards: Follow ethical standards and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Stay updated on industry advancements: Stay informed about new techniques, equipment, and procedures in the field of radiology to provide the best possible care to patients.

- Adhere to safety and regulatory standards: Comply with all safety and regulatory standards, including HIPAA and radiation safety regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental processes.
- Train and mentor junior staff: Train and mentor new staff and students to ensure they are following best practices and adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment: Keep the imaging room and equipment clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Attend training and professional development opportunities: Attend training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and stay updated on industry advancements.
Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or Related Field.
Current Certification By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Radiologic Technologist In A Clinical Setting.
Familiarity With Electronic Medical Record Systems And Ability To Accurately Document Patient Information.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Work With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
