- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures: Conduct various diagnostic imaging procedures including x-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans following established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort: Take necessary precautions to ensure the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures, including screening for allergies and contraindications.
- Maintain equipment and supplies: Perform routine maintenance on imaging equipment and ensure adequate supply levels for procedures.
- Produce high-quality images: Utilize knowledge and skills to produce clear and accurate images for diagnosis, adjusting techniques as needed for different patient populations.
- Collaborate with healthcare team: Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure accurate and timely delivery of imaging results.
- Maintain patient records: Accurately document patient information, imaging results, and any pertinent details in electronic medical records.
- Uphold safety standards: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for both patients and staff.
- Continue education and training: Stay current on advancements in imaging technology and techniques through ongoing education and training opportunities.
- Provide patient education: Explain procedures to patients and answer any questions they may have, ensuring they are well-informed and comfortable with the process.
- Demonstrate professionalism: Uphold a professional and compassionate demeanor at all times, maintaining patient confidentiality and exhibiting excellent customer service skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or Related Field From An Accredited Program.
Active Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience In A Hospital Or Outpatient Clinic Setting.
Proficiency In Operating And Maintaining Radiologic Equipment, Including X-Ray, Ct, And Mri Machines.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
