Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Allina Health System.   1. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as x-rays, MRIs, and CT scans with accuracy and attention to detail.
  2. Use medical equipment and technology effectively and safely to produce high-quality images.
  3. Position patients and adjust imaging equipment to ensure optimal image quality.
  4. Communicate with patients to explain procedures and alleviate any concerns or fears.
  5. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic results.
  6. Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
  7. Follow established protocols and safety standards to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure.
  8. Assist in training and mentoring new Radiologic Technologists.
  9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and department efficiency.
  10. Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
  11. Continuously update knowledge and skills through ongoing education and training.
  12. Uphold the values and mission of Allina Health System in all interactions with patients, colleagues, and the community.
  13. Work collaboratively with team members, including nurses, radiologists, and support staff, to provide excellent patient care.
  14. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  15. Stay current on industry developments and advancements in radiology technology.
  16. Actively participate in department meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  17. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain positive relationships with patients and colleagues.
  18. Adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines.
  19. Respond to emergency situations in a calm and efficient manner.
  20. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing Allina Health System with integrity and compassion.

Job Qualifications
  • Associate's Or Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology From An Accredited Program.

  • Current Arrt Certification And State Licensure As A Radiologic Technologist.

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience As A Radiologic Technologist In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Radiologic Technology Principles, Equipment, And Procedures.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
