- Coordinate and manage the schedules of healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and other staff members.
- Serve as a liaison between healthcare providers, patients, and other departments within the organization.
- Ensure that all necessary paperwork and documentation are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update provider databases and records, including contact information, licenses, and certifications.
- Monitor and track provider productivity and performance, identifying any areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with HR to recruit and onboard new providers, ensuring all necessary credentials and background checks are completed.
- Assist in creating and implementing policies and procedures for provider scheduling and operations.
- Address any scheduling conflicts or issues that may arise and find solutions to ensure seamless patient care.
- Communicate and coordinate with external organizations, such as insurance companies and referral sources, as needed.
- Participate in meetings and trainings to stay updated on industry regulations and best practices.
- Provide outstanding customer service to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient and provider information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a positive and efficient patient experience.
- Assist in handling billing and coding related to provider services.
- Continuously strive to improve processes and workflows to increase efficiency and quality of care.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Provider Coordination Or A Similar Role Within A Healthcare Organization.
Strong Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Compliance Standards, Including Hipaa And Medicare/Medicaid.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Providers, Patients, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
Proficiency In Electronic Medical Record Systems And Other Relevant Software Programs.
