Provider Coordinator

At Allina Health System, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Provider Coordinator to join our team. Our ideal candidate has exceptional communication and organizational skills and a commitment to providing excellent patient care. This position requires a minimum of two years’ experience in a healthcare provider setting and a Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration or a related field. The Provider Coordinator will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and have a strong ability to think proactively and anticipate needs. Responsibilities:

• Serve as a key liaison between healthcare providers and their patients
• Maintain and update provider schedules, patient records, and medical documents
• Monitor and review patient visits to ensure high quality of care and accuracy of information
• Develop and implement processes to optimize patient flow and provider efficiency
• Coordinate and facilitate patient referrals to other providers and services
• Provide administrative support to the healthcare provider team, including filing and scheduling
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including HIPAA
• Assist with onboarding and training of new providers
• Generate reports on patient visits and provider performance
• Maintain a professional, courteous, and welcoming environment for patients and providers
