Physician Assistant, Plastic Surgery

We are looking for an experienced Physician Assistant to join our Plastic Surgery team in Allina Health System. In this role, you will be responsible for providing specialized medical care to patients undergoing plastic surgery.We are seeking an individual with a high degree of professionalism, excellent communication skills, and the ability to stay organized in a rapidly changing environment. The successful candidate must have completed an accredited Physician Assistant program and have a current state license to practice. Prior experience in plastic surgery is preferred.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide specialized medical care to patients undergoing plastic surgery.
2. Assess patient medical conditions and develop a comprehensive care plan.
3. Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to the care plan as needed.
4. Document patient visits and provide follow-up care as needed.
5. Work collaboratively with members of the plastic surgery team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
6. Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and answer any questions they may have.
7. Stay up to date with the latest advances in plastic surgery and maintain a current license to practice.
8. Maintain a high standard of professionalism and ethical behavior at all times.
9. Communicate effectively with colleagues, patients, and other healthcare professionals.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
