  1. Dispensing Medications: The Pharmacist-Inpatient and Infusion will be responsible for accurately and safely dispensing medications to our inpatient and infusion patients.
  2. Ensuring Medication Safety: This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the safe use of medications by closely monitoring and reviewing medication orders, identifying potential drug interactions and allergies, and educating patients and healthcare providers on proper use and administration of medications.
  3. Collaborating with Healthcare Providers: The Pharmacist-Inpatient and Infusion will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans and provide recommendations for optimal medication therapies for patients.
  4. Managing Inventory: This individual will be responsible for managing medication inventory and ensuring adequate stock levels to meet patient needs.
  5. Maintaining Accurate Records: The Pharmacist-Inpatient and Infusion will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medication orders, dispensing, and administration for each patient.
  6. Participating in Quality Improvement: This individual will actively participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in developing and implementing medication-related policies and procedures to ensure the highest level of patient care.
  7. Providing Patient Education: The Pharmacist-Inpatient and Infusion will educate patients and their caregivers on the proper use and potential side effects of medications, as well as provide counseling on adherence to medication regimens.
  8. Staying Current on Industry Developments: This individual will stay up-to-date on industry developments and new medications to ensure the most effective and safe treatments are utilized for our patients.
  9. Maintaining Compliance: The Pharmacist-Inpatient and Infusion will adhere to all state and federal laws and regulations related to pharmacy practice and maintain compliance with all organizational policies and procedures.
  10. Contributing to a Positive Team Environment: The Pharmacist-Inpatient and Infusion will collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide a positive and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy Or Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current And Active Pharmacist License In The State Of Employment.

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience As An Inpatient Or Infusion Pharmacist.

  • Knowledge Of Hospital Pharmacy Operations, Medication Management, And Regulatory Requirements.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With Ability To Collaborate With Healthcare Team And Educate Patients On Medication Use.
