Job Description

Allina Health System is seeking a Perinatal Mental Health Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide psychotherapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families, as well as group therapy and psychoeducational sessions. The successful candidate must possess a strong knowledge of perinatal mental health, including postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, prenatal depression, and other related conditions. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others during this special time in their lives and have a commitment to providing evidence-based, client-centered care. If you have a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling and a license in good standing in Minnesota or the ability to obtain licensure in the state, please consider applying for this rewarding opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide psychotherapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families, as well as group therapy and psychoeducational sessions.
  2. Possess a strong knowledge of perinatal mental health, including postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, prenatal depression, and other related conditions.
  3. Help individuals and families during this special time in their lives.
  4. Provide evidence-based, client-centered care.
  5. Ensure that licensure requirements are met and maintained.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and services provided.
  7. Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans based on patient needs.
  8. Provide referrals to other professionals and community services as needed.
  9. Remain current with advances in the field of perinatal mental health.
