  1. Develop and implement patient safety and quality initiatives in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
  2. Analyze data and trends to identify potential areas for improvement in patient safety and quality of care.
  3. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other staff, to promote a culture of patient safety and quality care.
  4. Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  5. Provide education and training to staff on patient safety and quality improvement strategies.
  6. Serve as a resource and consultant for staff regarding patient safety and quality issues.
  7. Monitor and track adverse events and near misses, and lead investigations to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
  8. Participate in quality improvement committees and teams to drive continuous improvement efforts.
  9. Stay current on industry trends and advancements in patient safety and quality care, and make recommendations for implementing new practices or technologies.
  10. Communicate regularly with leadership and stakeholders to provide updates on patient safety and quality initiatives and outcomes.
  11. Serve as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met in regards to safety and quality of care.
  12. Conduct regular evaluations and provide recommendations for performance improvement related to patient safety and quality metrics.
  13. Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to patient safety and quality care.
  14. Collaborate with risk management and legal teams to mitigate potential risks and liabilities related to patient safety and quality care.
  15. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Patient Safety Or Quality Improvement Role.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Patient Safety Regulations, Standards, And Best Practices.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Interpret And Analyze Data Related To Patient Safety And Quality Metrics.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Various Stakeholders And Effectively Communicate Recommendations For Improvement.
