Patient Access Representative

In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients and their families. As a Patient Access Representative, you will be the first point of contact for patients, verifying insurance information and assisting with registration processes.To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication and customer service skills, strong organizational and multitasking abilities, and a working knowledge of medical terminology. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented and comfortable with quickly changing environments to join our team and help provide our patients with a positive healthcare experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Greet and check in patients in a timely and friendly manner.
2. Verify patient insurance information and ensure accuracy of data entry.
3. Answer patient inquiries and provide assistance with registration processes.
4. Utilize strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple tasks.
5. Accurately enter patient medical information into the electronic system.
6. Maintain a working knowledge of medical terminology and departmental policies and procedures.
7. Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
8. Resolve patient issues in a timely and efficient manner.
9. Assist in maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients.
10. Provide a positive healthcare experience to patients and families.
