  1. Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients of Allina Health System.
  2. Perform routine exams, screenings, and procedures for women's health, including pap smears, breast exams, and pelvic exams.
  3. Diagnose and treat various gynecological conditions, such as menstrual disorders, urinary tract infections, and menopause symptoms.
  4. Monitor and manage pregnancies, including prenatal care, delivery, and postpartum care.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses, midwives, and other physicians, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
  6. Stay up-to-date with current medical advancements and research in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.
  7. Educate patients on preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices.
  8. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care.
  9. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in providing patient care.
  10. Communicate effectively with patients and their families to address their concerns and answer any questions they may have.
  11. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  12. Collaborate with insurance companies and other third-party payers to ensure proper billing and reimbursement for services.
  13. Adhere to all organizational policies and protocols to maintain a safe and professional work environment.
  14. Mentor and supervise medical students, residents, and other healthcare professionals as needed.
  15. Attend continuing education and professional development opportunities to maintain licensure and stay current in the field.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree: A Qualified Obstetrician And Gynecologist At Allina Health System Must Possess A Medical Degree From An Accredited Institution.

  • Residency Training: Candidates Should Have Completed A Residency Program In Obstetrics And Gynecology, Preferably With A Focus On High-Risk Pregnancies And Gynecologic Surgeries.

  • Board Certification: Allina Health System Requires Its Obstetrician And Gynecologist To Be Board Certified By The American Board Of Obstetrics And Gynecology (Abog) Or Equivalent Board.

  • Licensure: Candidates Must Hold A Valid Medical License In The State Of Minnesota, Or Be Able To Obtain One Before Starting Employment At Allina Health System.

  • Experience: Candidates With Prior Experience In Obstetrics And Gynecology, Especially In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting, Will Be Preferred. Strong Clinical Skills And A Track Record Of Successful Patient Outcomes Are Also Important Qualifications.
