Nursing Assistant Short Stay Observation

- Provide compassionate and attentive care to patients in the Short Stay Observation unit.
- Assist in patient monitoring and assessments, reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing team.
- Help patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, following infection control and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure continuity of care and patient satisfaction.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures of Allina Health System and the Short Stay Observation unit.
- Participate in continuing education and training to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
- Demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care and promoting a positive work environment.
Current Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification
Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification Or Equivalent Training Program Completion
Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In An Acute Care Or Observation Unit
Knowledge And Understanding Of Basic Nursing Principles And Procedures, As Well As Familiarity With Electronic Medical Records Systems
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Provide Compassionate Care To Patients And Their Families During Short Stay Observations.
