  1. Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients in a variety of units within the healthcare facility.
  2. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
  3. Perform tasks and procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
  4. Document patient care and observations accurately and in a timely manner.
  5. Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the appropriate healthcare team members.
  6. Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  7. Maintain a safe and clean patient environment, following infection control and safety protocols.
  8. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  9. Attend and actively participate in staff meetings, trainings, and educational opportunities.
  10. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to providing excellent patient care.
  11. Adapt to changing patient needs and work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  12. Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  13. Maintain current knowledge of nursing assistant practices and procedures.
  14. Embrace a patient-centered approach and strive to improve patient satisfaction.
  15. Represent the healthcare facility in a positive and professional manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Active Cna License: The Candidate Should Possess A Current And Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) License In The State They Will Be Working In.

  • Previous Experience In Multiple Healthcare Settings: The Ideal Candidate Will Have A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working As A Cna In Different Healthcare Settings Such As Hospitals, Nursing Homes, And Assisted Living Facilities.

  • Flexibility And Adaptability: As A Float Pool Nursing Assistant, The Candidate Will Be Expected To Work In Different Units And With Various Patient Populations. Therefore, They Should Be Able To Adapt Quickly To New Environments And Be Comfortable Working With A Diverse Range Of Patients.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent Communication Skills Are Essential For Nursing Assistants Working In A Float Pool. They Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Their Families, And Other Healthcare Team Members To Provide The Best Care Possible.

  • Team Player: The Candidate Should Be A Team Player And Able To Work Collaboratively With Other Healthcare Professionals. They Should Also Be Willing To Take On Additional Responsibilities And Work Closely With The Assigned Unit's Staff To Ensure Continuity Of Care For Patients.
