- Provide exceptional mental health care to patients and their families, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure holistic and coordinated care.
- Administer and monitor medication regimens as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
- Support patients in navigating the healthcare system and connecting them with appropriate resources and support services.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.
- Continuously evaluate and modify treatment plans based on patient progress and changing needs.
- Adhere to all regulatory standards and guidelines related to mental health care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and improve clinical skills.
- Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights and preferences are respected and addressed.
- Maintain a compassionate and supportive demeanor towards patients and their families.
- Collaborate with community organizations and agencies to promote mental health awareness and support.
- Serve as a mentor and resource for other team members, including nurses and healthcare assistants.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or department leadership.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution.
Current Rn License In The State Of Minnesota.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Mental Health Nursing.
Certification In Psychiatric Nursing (Pmhnp) Or Advanced Practice Nursing (Aprn).
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively In A Multidisciplinary Team.
