- Perform laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly stored and maintained.
- Follow established protocols and procedures for specimen collection, handling, and processing.
- Adhere to safety regulations and protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
- Record and report test results accurately and in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical or equipment issues that may arise.
- Assist in the training and supervision of new laboratory technicians and students.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills through ongoing education and training.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with all HIPAA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure proper patient care.
- Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure accuracy and precision of test results.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all laboratory procedures and results.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.

- Stay up to date on industry advancements and advancements in laboratory technology.

Associate's Degree In Medical Laboratory Technology Or Related Field.
Certification As A Medical Laboratory Technician (Mlt) From A Recognized Accrediting Agency.
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Laboratory Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Laboratory Procedures, And Quality Control Standards.
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced And Team-Oriented Environment.
