
Medical Laboratory Technician

- Conduct laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, troubleshoot issues as needed, and report any malfunctions.
- Record and interpret test results, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
- Communicate test results to healthcare providers in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor and track inventory of laboratory supplies, reagents, and equipment, and order replacements as needed.
- Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials and biohazards.
- Adhere to all quality control and quality assurance measures to ensure accuracy and precision of test results.
- Keep detailed and organized records of all laboratory procedures and results.
- Collaborate with other laboratory staff and healthcare providers to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Stay current with industry developments and advances in laboratory technology and techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Participate in and contribute to continuous quality improvement efforts.
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.
- Demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent patient care and customer service.
- Attend mandatory training and meetings as required.
Associate's Degree In Medical Laboratory Technology Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Laboratory Setting.
Certification As A Medical Laboratory Technician (Mlt) Through Ascp Or Equivalent.
Proficiency In Performing A Variety Of Laboratory Tests And Procedures, Including Specimen Collection, Processing, And Analysis.
Knowledge Of Laboratory Safety Protocols And Quality Control Measures.
