- Provide exceptional podiatric care to patients by assisting the podiatrist in various procedures, treatments, and consultations.
- Maintain a compassionate and empathetic approach towards patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being during appointments.
- Manage patient schedules, including appointment scheduling, follow-up appointments, and rescheduling as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Prepare examination rooms and equipment for patient visits, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
- Educate patients on podiatric care, treatment plans, and post-care instructions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Adhere to all medical and safety protocols and maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing supplies and inventory.
- Continuously update and enhance knowledge and skills through training and professional development opportunities.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient satisfaction and actively seek ways to improve the patient experience.
- Collaborate with the podiatrist and other healthcare team members to ensure the highest quality of care for patients.
- Follow all organizational policies and procedures and actively participate in team meetings and discussions.
Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Or Registered Medical Assistant (Rma) Through An Accredited Program Or Organization.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Podiatry Setting.
Knowledge Of Podiatry Procedures, Equipment, And Terminology.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
Proficiency In Electronic Medical Records (Emr) And Other Computer Skills.
