Completion Of An Accredited Medical Assistant Program: Allina Health System Requires All Medical Assistants To Have Completed An Accredited Program In Medical Assisting. This Ensures That Candidates Have Received Comprehensive Training In Both Administrative And Clinical Tasks.
Certification: Allina Health System Prefers Candidates Who Are Certified As A Medical Assistant By A Recognized Organization Such As The American Association Of Medical Assistants (Aama). This Certification Demonstrates A High Level Of Knowledge And Competency In The Field.
Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Allina Health System Prefers Candidates Who Have Previous Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting, Such As A Clinic Or Hospital. This Experience Demonstrates A Familiarity With Medical Terminology, Procedures, And Equipment.
