Manager Infection Prevention

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a commitment to excellence, an in-depth knowledge of infection prevention practices, and a passion for ensuring safe, effective and efficient care. The Manager of Infection Prevention will be responsible for leading and managing a comprehensive infection prevention program that is designed to reduce the risk of infectious disease transmission in health care settings. This individual will collaborate with physicians, nurses, infection preventionists, and other healthcare staff to develop, maintain and implement infection control policies and procedures. The Manager of Infection Prevention will be accountable for the quality and accuracy of data collected and the accuracy of reports generated.Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Infection Prevention, Nursing, or related field.• Master's degree in Infection Prevention, Public Health or related field preferred.• At least 5 years of experience in infection prevention or related field.• Certified in Infection Prevention and Control (CIC) preferred.• Knowledge of infection control standards and regulations.• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and problem solving skills.• Excellent communication, interpersonal and team building skills.• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.• Proficiency with computers and various software applications including Microsoft Office Suite.
