Mammography- Special Imaging Technologist

The Mammography Special Imaging Technologist will work in a fast-paced, patient-oriented environment. This position requires an individual with an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology, current ARRT certification in Mammography, and several years of experience in mammography/breast imaging. The Mammography Special Imaging Technologist will be responsible for producing high-quality images and providing excellent patient care. In addition, this individual must possess a strong commitment to patient safety, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide high-quality mammography imaging services to patients in a fast-paced, patient-oriented environment.
2. Maintain ARRT certification in Mammography.
3. Follow all safety protocols and adhere to professional standards of care.
4. Utilize appropriate equipment and techniques to produce accurate and precise images.
5. Assist the radiologist in the interpretation of mammograms.
6. Answer questions and provide information about mammography and breast health to patients.
7. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and imaging results.
8. Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
9. Ensure that all mammography equipment is in proper working order.
10. Participate in continuing education programs and seminars related to mammography and breast health.
