
Mammography- Special Imaging Technologist
At Allina Health System, we are seeking an experienced Mammography Imaging Technologist with a special passion for helping others. Our ideal candidate is a compassionate and friendly individual with excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing the highest quality of care. The Mammography Special Imaging Technologist will work in a fast-paced, patient-oriented environment. This position requires an individual with an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology, current ARRT certification in Mammography, and several years of experience in mammography/breast imaging. The Mammography Special Imaging Technologist will be responsible for producing high-quality images and providing excellent patient care. In addition, this individual must possess a strong commitment to patient safety, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality mammography imaging services to patients in a fast-paced, patient-oriented environment.
- Maintain ARRT certification in Mammography.
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to professional standards of care.
- Utilize appropriate equipment and techniques to produce accurate and precise images.
- Assist the radiologist in the interpretation of mammograms.
- Answer questions and provide information about mammography and breast health to patients.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and imaging results.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Ensure that all mammography equipment is in proper working order.
- Participate in continuing education programs and seminars related to mammography and breast health.
