- Provide compassionate and dedicated care to patients undergoing cancer treatment.
- Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and document patient progress and any changes in condition.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Remain up-to-date on latest advancements and best practices in surgical oncology care.
- Demonstrate empathy and sensitivity towards patients and their families.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Assist in coordinating and scheduling patient appointments and procedures.
- Follow all policies and procedures of Allina Health System.
- Participate in continuous education and training opportunities.
- Uphold a professional and positive attitude at all times.
- Use critical thinking skills to assess and address patient needs.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in patient care.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Current Lpn License In The State Of Minnesota
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In Surgical Oncology Or A Related Field
Knowledge Of Oncology Treatment Modalities And Procedures
Ability To Provide Compassionate And Patient-Centered Care To Cancer Patients And Their Families
Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills For Collaborating With Interdisciplinary Healthcare Team Members.
