1. Provide compassionate care to pediatric patients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being is prioritized at all times.
2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and monitor patient responses.
3. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
4. Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and document findings accurately and timely.
5. Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and assist with medical charting.
7. Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to the appropriate healthcare team members.
8. Prepare and assist with procedures and examinations, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
9. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
10. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and coordination of care for patients.
11. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during difficult or challenging situations.
12. Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay current with best practices in pediatric care.
