- Provide compassionate care to pediatric patients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being is prioritized at all times.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and monitor patient responses.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and document findings accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and assist with medical charting.
- Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to the appropriate healthcare team members.
- Prepare and assist with procedures and examinations, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and coordination of care for patients.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during difficult or challenging situations.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay current with best practices in pediatric care.
- Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, including ethical standards and confidentiality guidelines.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude, demonstrating empathy and respect towards patients, families, and colleagues.
- Advocate for patients and their families to ensure their needs and concerns are addressed and their rights are protected.
Valid Lpn License In The State Of Minnesota.
Minimum Of 1 Year Experience In Pediatric Nursing.
Current Bls Certification.
Familiarity With Electronic Medical Records Systems.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, Particularly With Pediatric Patients And Their Parents Or Caregivers.
