- Administer and interpret Holter and Stress Tests to monitor heart activity in patients.
- Ensure accurate and timely placement of monitoring devices on patients.
- Monitor and troubleshoot devices to ensure accurate recordings.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to schedule and coordinate tests for patients.
- Educate patients on the purpose and process of Holter and Stress Tests.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of test results and patient information.
- Communicate test results to physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure patient and staff safety.
- Provide exceptional patient care and ensure patient comfort during testing.
- Stay current with advancements in Holter and Stress Test technology and procedures.
- Assist in the maintenance and calibration of equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with insurance companies to ensure proper billing and coding for tests.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve testing processes and patient outcomes.
- Adhere to all HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines.
A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Performing Holter And Stress Tests In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare System.
Certification As A Holter And Stress Test Technician From A Recognized Accrediting Body, Such As The American Association Of Medical Instrumentation (Aami) Or The National Association Of Echocardiography Technicians (Naet).
Proficiency In Operating And Troubleshooting Holter And Stress Test Equipment, Including Ekg Machines, Exercise Stress Treadmills, And Holter Monitors.
Strong Understanding Of Cardiac Anatomy And Physiology, As Well As The Ability To Interpret Ekg And Stress Test Results Accurately.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact Professionally With Patients And Healthcare Team Members.
