- Prepare and analyze tissue samples for diagnosis and treatment.
- Perform precise laboratory techniques with attention to detail.

- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities.
- Assist in training and mentoring new histology technicians.
- Meet productivity and turnaround time standards.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed.
- Attend department meetings and training sessions.

Associate's Or Bachelor's Degree In Histotechnology, Biology, Or A Related Field.
Certification As A Histology Technician (Ht) Or Histotechnologist (Htl) Through The American Society For Clinical Pathology (Ascp).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Histology Laboratory Setting.
Knowledge Of Laboratory Safety Protocols And Procedures.
Ability To Accurately Prepare And Process Tissue Samples For Microscopic Analysis, Including Embedding, Sectioning, Staining, And Mounting.
