Medical Degree: A Family Medicine Physician At Allina Health System's St. Paul Bandana Square Location Should Have Completed A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree From An Accredited Medical School.
Board Certification: Allina Health System Requires Its Family Medicine Physicians To Be Board Certified By The American Board Of Family Medicine (Abfm) Or The American Osteopathic Board Of Family Physicians (Aobfp).
Residency Training: Candidates For This Position Should Have Completed A Three-Year Residency Program In Family Medicine, Which Provides Comprehensive Training In Primary Care, Preventive Medicine, And Chronic Disease Management.
State Licensure: All Family Medicine Physicians At Allina Health System Must Be Licensed To Practice Medicine In The State Of Minnesota. Candidates Must Have A Valid And Unrestricted Medical License.
Experience: While Not Always Required, Allina Health System May Prefer Candidates With Prior Experience In A Family Medicine Setting. This Could Include Experience In A Residency Program, As A Practicing Physician, Or As A Physician Assistant Or Nurse Practitioner In A Primary Care Clinic.
