  1. Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks in assigned areas, including patient rooms, offices, common areas, and restrooms.
  2. Follow established procedures and safety protocols to ensure a clean and sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
  3. Utilize appropriate cleaning products and equipment to effectively remove dirt, dust, and other contaminants.
  4. Monitor and replenish supplies as needed, such as paper products, soap, and hand sanitizer.
  5. Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
  6. Adhere to infection control measures and protocols to prevent the spread of illness and infection.
  7. Assist with the setup and breakdown of patient rooms and other areas as needed.
  8. Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of patients, staff, and visitors.
  9. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  10. Attend training and educational sessions to continuously improve knowledge and skills.
  11. Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude towards patients, visitors, and colleagues.
  12. Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.
  13. Handle and dispose of hazardous materials according to established guidelines.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or department leadership.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Required For This Role, As It Demonstrates Basic Education And Communication Skills.

  • Previous Experience In Environmental Services: Candidates With Previous Experience In Environmental Services, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting, Will Be Preferred For This Role. This Experience Will Help In Understanding The Specific Cleaning And Sanitation Requirements Of A Healthcare Facility.

  • Knowledge Of Infection Control Procedures: A Thorough Understanding Of Infection Control Procedures And Protocols Is Essential For This Job. This Includes Knowledge Of Proper Cleaning Techniques, Use Of Disinfectants, And Handling And Disposal Of Biohazardous Materials.

  • Physical Stamina And Ability To Lift: As An Environmental Services Aide, The Job Will Involve A Significant Amount Of Physical Work, Including Lifting And Moving Heavy Objects, Standing For Extended Periods, And Bending And Reaching. Therefore, Candidates Must Have The Physical Stamina And Ability To Perform These Tasks.

  • Attention To Detail: Maintaining A Clean And Safe Environment In A Healthcare Facility Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail. Candidates Must Have The Ability To Notice And Address Any Potential Cleanliness Or Safety Issues In A Timely And Efficient Manner.
