
Environmental Services Aide

- Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow proper infection control procedures to prevent the spread of illness and infection.
- Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.

- Keep accurate records of daily tasks completed and report any issues or concerns to supervisor.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other staff to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

- Attend training and educational sessions as required to maintain knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and procedures.
- Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor while interacting with patients, visitors, and staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Basic Educational Qualification Is Required For This Role. A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Demonstrates A Level Of Basic Education And Knowledge Necessary To Carry Out The Duties Of An Environmental Services Aide.
Previous Experience In Environmental Services: Previous Experience In A Similar Role Is Preferred, As It Demonstrates Familiarity With The Responsibilities And Tasks Involved In Environmental Services. It Also Shows An Ability To Work In A Healthcare Setting And Adhere To Strict Safety And Hygiene Protocols.
Knowledge Of Cleaning And Sanitation Procedures: A Good Understanding Of Cleaning And Sanitation Procedures Is Essential For An Environmental Services Aide. This Includes Knowledge Of Different Cleaning Products And Their Proper Usage, As Well As An Understanding Of Infection Control Protocols.
