- Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments in a timely manner.
- Provide exceptional care and service to patients during transportation, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols while driving.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle at all times.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing clear and concise instructions and information.
- Monitor and report any changes in patient's condition during transportation.
- Assist patients with getting in and out of the vehicle, as needed.
- Ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are stocked and ready for use.
- Keep accurate records of all trips, including mileage, time, and patient information.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff and other team members to ensure efficient and effective transportation services.
- Attend training sessions and meetings to maintain and improve job knowledge and skills.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Report any vehicle maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
Valid Commercial Driver's License (Cdl) With Passenger Endorsement: This Qualification Ensures That The Candidate Has The Necessary Skills And Experience To Operate Large Vehicles And Transport Passengers Safely.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Education Requirement Is Necessary To Ensure That The Candidate Has Basic Knowledge And Understanding Of Various Procedures And Protocols Involved In Ems Transportation Services.
Cpr And First Aid Certification: As An Ems Special Transportation Driver, The Candidate Must Be Trained In Cpr And First Aid To Provide Immediate Assistance In Case Of Any Medical Emergencies During Transportation.
Experience In Ems Transportation Services: Prior Experience In Driving Ambulances Or Other Emergency Vehicles Is Preferred For This Role. This Ensures That The Candidate Is Familiar With The Demanding Nature Of The Job And Can Handle High-Stress Situations Effectively.
Clean Driving Record: A Clean Driving Record Is Essential For This Role As It Demonstrates The Candidate's Ability To Adhere To Traffic Laws And Regulations, Ensuring The Safety Of Passengers And Other Drivers On The Road.
