  1. Maintain accurate inventory levels of medical supplies and equipment for emergency medical services.
  2. Monitor and track usage of supplies and equipment to ensure appropriate levels are maintained.
  3. Place orders for supplies and equipment as needed to replenish inventory.
  4. Receive and inspect incoming shipments of supplies and equipment.
  5. Organize and stock supplies and equipment in designated storage areas.
  6. Collaborate with EMS staff to understand their needs and preferences for supplies and equipment.
  7. Conduct regular inventory audits to identify any discrepancies and address them promptly.
  8. Keep detailed records of inventory levels, orders, and usage.
  9. Work with vendors to negotiate pricing and ensure timely delivery of supplies and equipment.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety and infection control standards.
  11. Train and educate EMS staff on proper use and storage of supplies and equipment.
  12. Stay informed about new and updated products and technologies related to emergency medical services.
  13. Communicate any supply or equipment shortages or issues to management in a timely manner.
  14. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  15. Continuously look for ways to improve inventory management processes and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Education And Training: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Required For This Position. Additional Training Or Certification In Inventory Management, Supply Chain Management, Or Related Field Is Preferred.

  • Experience: Previous Experience In Inventory Management, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting, Is Highly Desirable. Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Inventory Control Procedures And Systems.

  • Attention To Detail: The Ems Inventory Technician Must Have Excellent Attention To Detail To Ensure Accurate Recording And Tracking Of Inventory Levels. This Includes Identifying Discrepancies And Taking Appropriate Action To Resolve Them.

  • Organizational Skills: This Position Requires Strong Organizational Skills To Manage And Maintain Inventory Levels For Multiple Locations. The Ability To Prioritize Tasks And Manage Time Effectively Is Also Essential.

  • Communication Skills: The Ems Inventory Technician Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Various Departments And Vendors Regarding Inventory Levels, Orders, And Deliveries. Strong Written And Verbal Communication Skills Are Necessary For Success In This Role.
