
Employee Safety Program Specialist

- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in line with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks.
- Collaborate with department managers to ensure all employees receive proper safety training.
- Develop and maintain a safety training program for new and existing employees.
- Investigate and report on any safety incidents or accidents, identifying the root cause and implementing corrective actions.
- Monitor and track safety data and trends to identify areas for improvement.
- Serve as a resource for employees regarding safety concerns and questions.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in safety regulations and recommend updates to policies and procedures as needed.
- Conduct research and provide recommendations for new safety equipment and technologies.
- Collaborate with HR and management to promote a culture of safety and wellness throughout the organization.
- Participate in emergency preparedness planning and response efforts.
- Compile and submit safety reports to regulatory agencies as required.
- Monitor and manage the safety budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
- Communicate regularly with upper management to provide updates on safety initiatives and progress.
- Act as a liaison between the organization and external safety agencies or organizations.
Knowledge Of Occupational Safety And Health Administration (Osha) Regulations And Compliance Standards.
Experience In Developing And Implementing Safety Policies And Procedures.
Familiarity With Conducting Risk Assessments And Creating Safety Training Programs.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Train And Engage Employees In Safety Protocols.
Ability To Analyze Data And Provide Recommendations For Improving Workplace Safety Measures.
