Dietary Aide

1. Prepare and serve meals to patients according to their dietary needs and restrictions.
2. Ensure all food items are properly labeled, stored, and rotated to maintain freshness and quality.
3. Maintain accurate records of patient meal orders and dietary preferences.
4. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation and delivery.
5. Communicate any patient dietary concerns or issues to the appropriate healthcare team members.
6. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines when handling food and cleaning work areas.
7. Assist with inventory management and restocking of food and supplies.
8. Provide exceptional customer service to patients by addressing any questions or concerns about their meals.
9. Participate in training and education programs to stay updated on dietary guidelines and regulations.
10. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
11. Collaborate with other dietary aides and team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
12. Adhere to organization policies and procedures, as well as federal and state regulations related to food handling and safety.
13. Continuously monitor and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
14. Attend team meetings and contribute ideas for improving patient satisfaction and meal quality.
15. Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
