- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using CT and radiology equipment.
- Operate equipment safely and follow established protocols to ensure accurate and high-quality images.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and answering any questions they may have.
- Position patients correctly and adjust equipment as needed to obtain optimal images.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures, including patient information, images, and any notes from the radiologist.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic results.
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment as needed, reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Keep up-to-date with advancements and changes in technology and procedures within the field.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
- Provide exceptional patient care and ensure a positive patient experience.
- Work collaboratively within a team environment to achieve department and organizational goals.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Attend training and continuing education opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or Related Field From An Accredited Educational Program.
Active Certification By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).
Current State Licensure As A Radiologic Technologist.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.
Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Coworkers, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
