
Community Palliative Care RN

We are searching for a skilled and dedicated Community Palliative Care RN to join our team and provide exceptional care to our patients and their families. The ideal candidate for this role is a skilled nurse who is experienced in palliative care and has strong interpersonal and communication skills. Required Qualifications: • Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Minnesota • 3-5 years of nursing experience with at least 2 years in palliative care• Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Excellent communication and listening skills • Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals • Knowledge of palliative care standards and regulations • Ability to demonstrate sound clinical judgment • Compassionate nature and excellent bedside manner • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • BLS and ACLS certification
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional palliative care to patients and families.
- Act as a liaison between patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of palliative care standards and regulations.
- Demonstrate sound clinical judgment when making decisions.
- Exercise compassion and a good bedside manner with patients and families.
- Work in a fast-paced environment while providing quality care.
- Document patient care and other related information.
- Maintain BLS and ACLS certification.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control procedures.
- Provide patient and family education and support.
Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing
Current Registered Nurse Licensure In The State Of Minnesota
Minimum Of Two Years Of Experience In Providing Palliative Care
Knowledge Of Chronic Illnesses And End-Of-Life Care
Experience In Providing Supportive Counseling
Demonstrated Organizational And Problem-Solving Skills
Proficiency In The Use Of Electronic Medical Records Systems
