We are currently seeking a Clinic Patient Access Representative to join our team and be the first point of contact for our patients. As a Clinic Patient Access Representative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients have a positive and efficient experience during their visit.   1. Greet and welcome patients to the clinic with a warm and friendly demeanor.
  2. Serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have.
  3. Schedule patient appointments and ensure accurate and timely entry of all patient information into the electronic medical records system.
  4. Verify patient insurance coverage and collect necessary co-payments or fees.
  5. Assist patients with completing necessary forms and paperwork.
  6. Communicate with patients regarding any necessary pre-visit preparations, such as fasting or medication restrictions.
  7. Coordinate with other departments and healthcare providers to ensure a smooth and efficient patient flow.
  8. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  9. Provide support to patients and their families by answering questions, providing informational materials, and addressing any issues that may arise during their visit.
  10. Collaborate with team members to identify and implement ways to improve patient experience and streamline processes.
  11. Attend training and stay updated on clinic policies, procedures, and services to provide accurate and consistent information to patients.
  12. Handle any patient complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  13. Ensure a clean and organized reception area, including restocking supplies and maintaining a welcoming environment.
  14. Adhere to all safety protocols and report any potential hazards or incidents to appropriate personnel.
  15. Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance the overall patient experience.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or clinic management.
