
Child and Adolescent Psychologist
Allina Health System is seeking an experienced and compassionate Child and Adolescent Psychologist to join our team and provide exceptional care to our patients. We are looking for an individual who is dedicated to providing quality mental health services to children and adolescents. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of child and adolescent psychology and a commitment to helping our patients achieve their best mental health.The successful candidate will have a Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited college or university, completed a supervised clinical internship, and obtained a license to practice psychology in the state of Minnesota. In addition, the ideal candidate will have experience in providing counseling and behavior therapy services to children and adolescents, as well as the ability to collaborate with other members of the healthcare team. This individual must have excellent communication skills, a commitment to patient-centered care, and a passion for helping children and adolescents achieve their best mental health.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional counseling and behavior therapy services to children and adolescents.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure patient-centered care.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge and expertise in child and adolescent psychology.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients based on psychological assessment.
- Assist in the diagnosis of mental health issues and provide appropriate treatment.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and provide emotional support to patients.
- Comply with all state laws and regulations pertaining to the practice of psychology.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
- Maintain professional relationships with colleagues, patients, and families.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills
Phd. Or Psy.d. In Psychology
Licensed As A Psychologist In The State Of Minnesota
At Least Years Of Experience Working With Children And Adolescents
Experience Conducting Psychological Assessments
Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Treatments For Childhood And Adolescent Mental Health Issues
Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team
