  1. Provide exceptional patient care by assisting cardiologists and nurses in delivering high-quality cardiovascular services.
  2. Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and oxygen levels.
  3. Assist with diagnostic procedures and treatments, such as EKGs, stress tests, and cardiac catheterizations.
  4. Prepare and maintain equipment for procedures and ensure they are functioning properly.
  5. Educate patients and their families on cardiovascular health, procedures, and treatment plans.
  6. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  8. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
  9. Continuously expand knowledge and skills through ongoing education and training opportunities.
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  11. Provide support and assistance to patients during their stay, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  12. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure a smooth and positive patient experience.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all aspects of job performance.
  14. Adhere to organizational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of A Recognized Cardiovascular Technician Program Or Equivalent Education And Training.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Cardiovascular Care Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Clinic Setting.

  • Certification As A Cardiovascular Technologist (Cvt) Or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (Rcis) Preferred.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Cardiovascular Anatomy, Physiology, And Procedures.

  • Ability To Operate And Troubleshoot Various Cardiovascular Equipment And Devices, Such As Ecg Machines, Defibrillators, And Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps.
