Cardiac Sonographer

Allina Health System is looking for a talented and experienced Cardiac Sonographer to join our team and help provide high-quality healthcare to our patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing ultrasound scans of the heart and related structures, as well as providing superior patient care.To be successful in this role, we are looking for an experienced Cardiac Sonographer who has a minimum of two to three years of experience in a hospital or clinic setting. A Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field is also required. Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound scans of the heart and related structures.

• Provide excellent patient care, including pre- and post-scan instructions.

• Monitor patient comfort during the procedure.

• Maintain accurate records of patient scans and results.

• Communicate scan results to physicians and other healthcare professionals.

• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

• Remain up-to-date on new technologies and best practices in cardiac sonography.

• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.

• Follow all hospital and department policies and procedures.
