- Lead and supervise a team of security officers during their shift, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular training and performance evaluations for security officers to maintain a high level of competency and professionalism.
- Monitor and assess potential security risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and ensure they are met.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure that security protocols are being followed and maintained.
- Respond to and resolve any security incidents or emergencies in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all security-related activities during the shift.
- Ensure that all security equipment is functioning properly and address any maintenance or repair needs.
- Handle scheduling, timekeeping, and payroll for the security team.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and implement best practices to enhance security measures.
- Foster a positive and professional work environment for the security team, promoting teamwork and collaboration.

Previous Security Experience: The Ideal Candidate For A Security Shift Supervisor Job At Allied Universal Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In The Security Industry. This Experience Can Include Working As A Security Officer, Team Leader, Or In A Supervisory Role.
Strong Leadership Skills: As A Supervisor, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading And Managing A Team Of Security Officers. Therefore, They Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills Such As The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Guidance And Training, And Effectively Handle Conflicts And Issues Within The Team.
Excellent Communication Skills: The Candidate Should Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Both Their Team Members And Clients. This Includes Being Able To Give Clear Instructions, Write Reports, And Effectively Handle Any Emergency Situations That May Arise.
