- Ensure the safety and security of all attendees and participants at conventions under Allied Universal's protection.
- Maintain a strong sense of responsibility while on duty, prioritizing the safety and well-being of all individuals.
- Communicate effectively with team members and event organizers to coordinate security efforts and respond to any potential threats or incidents.
- Use critical thinking skills to assess potential risks and proactively prevent any security breaches.
- Continuously monitor the event space and maintain a strong presence to deter any potential security threats.
- Remain vigilant and alert at all times, quickly responding to any emergency situations that may arise.
- Follow all protocols and procedures set by Allied Universal and the event organizers to ensure a smooth and safe event.
- Provide excellent customer service to all attendees and participants, acting as a friendly and approachable representative of Allied Universal.
- Act as a liaison between event organizers, venue staff, and other security personnel to ensure efficient and effective communication.
- Attend all necessary training and meetings to stay updated on event security protocols and procedures.
Prior Experience In Event Security: A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Event Security, Preferably In The Conventions Industry, Is Required For This Position. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Thorough Understanding Of The Unique Security Needs And Challenges Of Large Events.
Knowledge Of Crowd Control And Emergency Response Procedures: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Crowd Control Techniques And Be Able To Respond Swiftly And Effectively In Case Of Emergencies. This Includes Knowledge Of First Aid And Cpr.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Member Of The Event Security Team, It Is Important To Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Interact With Event Staff, Attendees, And Other Security Personnel. The Ability To Remain Calm And Diffuse Potentially Volatile Situations Is Also Crucial.
Physical Fitness And Stamina: Working In Event Security Can Be Physically Demanding, Especially During Long Shifts And In Crowded Environments. Candidates Should Be In Good Physical Condition And Have The Stamina To Stand, Walk, And Patrol For Extended Periods Of Time.
Security Training And Certifications: A Valid Security License And Relevant Certifications Such As Crowd Management, Emergency Response, Or Active Shooter Training Are Highly Desirable For This Position. These Demonstrate The Candidate's Commitment To The Field And Enhance Their Ability To Perform Their Duties Effectively.
