  1. Design and develop data models for various business use cases and requirements.
  2. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into effective data models.
  3. Develop and implement data standards, best practices, and guidelines for data modeling.
  4. Identify and resolve data quality issues to ensure accurate and reliable data.
  5. Collaborate with data engineers and architects to ensure data models are optimized for performance and scalability.
  6. Conduct data analysis to identify trends and patterns in data and provide insights to support business decision-making.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data modeling techniques and tools.
  8. Train and mentor junior data modelers in best practices and techniques.
  9. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  10. Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
  11. Participate in data governance initiatives and contribute to the development of data governance policies and procedures.
  12. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure proper integration of data models with existing systems and data warehouses.
  13. Monitor and maintain the health and performance of data models.
  14. Support data migration and data conversion projects.
  15. Prepare and present reports and presentations on data modeling activities and results to senior management.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Data Modeling: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Data Modeling, With A Strong Understanding Of Conceptual, Logical, And Physical Data Models. They Should Also Have Experience In Various Data Modeling Techniques Such As Entity-Relationship Modeling, Dimensional Modeling, And Data Vault Modeling.

  • Proficiency In Data Modeling Tools: The Candidate Should Be Proficient In Using Industry-Standard Data Modeling Tools Such As Erwin, Er/Studio, Or Powerdesigner. They Should Also Have Experience In Data Modeling In Both Relational And Non-Relational Databases.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: A Senior Data Modeler Should Have Strong Analytical Skills To Understand Complex Data Structures And Relationships. They Should Also Have The Ability To Identify Data Quality Issues And Make Recommendations For Data Improvement.

  • Knowledge Of Data Management Best Practices: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Data Management Best Practices, Including Data Governance, Data Quality, And Data Security. They Should Also Have Experience In Developing And Implementing Data Management Policies And Procedures.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: A Senior Data Modeler Should Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate Complex Technical Concepts To Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders. They Should Also Have Experience Working Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Business Analysts, Data Engineers, And Developers.
