6. Oversee the negotiation and placement of reinsurance contracts, ensuring competitive pricing and favorable terms.
7. Monitor and report on the performance of reinsurance programs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations and developments in reinsurance, and provide recommendations for adaptation.
9. Manage a team of reinsurance professionals, providing guidance, training and support to ensure their success.
10. Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and claims, to ensure smooth and efficient reinsurance operations.
11. Communicate reinsurance strategies and results to senior management and stakeholders.
12. Proactively identify potential risks and provide recommendations for mitigation.
13. Ensure compliance with company standards and policies, as well as regulatory requirements.
