- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify potential security threats and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and analyze security logs and reports to identify and respond to any suspicious activity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security measures and controls to protect sensitive data and systems.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of security awareness.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies to continuously improve the organization's security posture.
- Serve as a liaison between the organization and external security auditors and regulators.
- Investigate security incidents and breaches and provide recommendations for remediation.
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify any gaps or vulnerabilities in the organization's systems and processes.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on the status of the organization's security posture.
- Maintain documentation of security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
- Respond to security incidents and provide timely and accurate communication to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other LISOs within the organization to share best practices and ensure consistency in security protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and contractual obligations related to information security.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the organization's security posture through regular testing and assessment.
Knowledge Of Information Security: A Liso Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Information Security Principles, Best Practices, And Industry Standards. This Includes Knowledge Of Risk Assessment, Threat Management, Data Protection, And Compliance Regulations.
Strong Communication Skills: As A Liso, The Ability To Communicate Effectively With Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders Is Crucial. This Includes Presenting Complex Information In A Clear And Understandable Manner, As Well As Collaborating With Different Teams To Implement Security Measures.
Experience In Risk Management: Allianz Is A Large Organization With A Diverse Range Of Operations, Making Risk Management An Essential Aspect Of The Liso Role. Candidates Should Have Experience In Identifying And Assessing Potential Risks, As Well As Implementing Mitigation Strategies.
Leadership Skills: A Liso Is Responsible For Leading An Information Security Team And Driving The Organization's Security Culture. The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Motivate Team Members, And Make Critical Decisions.
Relevant Certifications: While Not Always A Requirement, Certifications Such As Certified Information Systems Security Professional (Cissp) Or Certified Information Security Manager (Cism) Can Demonstrate A Candidate's Expertise And Commitment To The Field Of Information Security.
